Spiritual Living Internship

The Internship Program at Tara is designed to provide an opportunity for people to experience cooperative work and service through conscious love in action: Karma Yoga. This program offers the best opportunity for guests to experience the heart of Tara Yoga and the teachings behind the Center and to be of service to the community and guests that utilize Tara on a regular basis, while being immersed in the spiritual lifestyle and practices of mindful living, healing and purification. Interns should expect to be challenged in many ways, both physically and spiritually, and to use each day to reach deeper levels of awareness through practice and karma yoga.

This is a rare opportunity to live and practice in a spiritual environment
while delving deeply into the practices of meditation, breath, awareness, and mindfulness.

Tara is a nurturing and peaceful location for spiritually dedicated individuals to experience living and working together. Working four hours per day allows for karma yoga, while leaving ample time in the morning and evening to be in practice.

Applications are accepted for the internship year round. The prerequisite for the internsip is attendance to any Level 1 retreat, either Tara Yoga, Cleanse, or OneBreath Training. This is a two month program that can be extended for those who wish to be dedicated to longer term practice and work. During an extended stay, deeper teachings and experiences are available to those who wish greater understanding and experience of higher consciousness and living practices of Tara. This is also the method through which Tara trains future staff.
